These items have been "in style" for a long period of time. the long mens dress jacket, although not the exact same as this one, we have seen since the early 1900s.
Fashion. boots. denim jeans. leather jacket. The faded denim look is not new, but it is also not "out of style". The leather jacket is also something that i have been seeing for a long time (could possibly be a classic) but the cut of the jacket makes it a bit more trendy. The boots, well boots people have been wearing for ages but this lower calf height is trendy now, possibly making it a fashion statement.
Trendamania. Aritzia Girl. vintage look (seen on spring runway). hipster boots. leggings. shaved side of head. Everything about this is trend. These trends are coming from the "hipster" revolution that has been seen on the streets for the past few years. The "hipster" look is starting to trickle into fashion brands more and more. It is hard to say whether or not this girl is a hipster or if her choice of dress is reflected by what she is seeing on the runway, and magazines or around her. It appeared that she was on her way to her job at Aritzia which makes me believe she is wearing a trend and not part of the the "hipster revolution." Either way still looking beautiful and, well trendy.
